Grief and Loss Support Group

The AU Faculty and Staff Grief and Loss Support Group is envisioned as a confidential and non-judgmental place for faculty and staff who have experienced the loss of a person in their life to connect, share experiences, and accompany each other through grief. This group is also meant to be a place to identify resources and assistance for faculty and staff undergoing this grief journey no matter the person or place along the grieving process. Special attention will be paid to the needs of the group regarding times and issues that may be particularly difficult.

If you have experienced loss in your life at any point, please know that you are not alone. The sessions are co-led by two AU staff members, Matthew Sifter and Emma Bozek-Jarvis. They welcome you to join them as the group provides comfort, strength, and wisdom to each other.
